Broker partner program
Add EFTPOS to your book
A partner program for mortgage, insurance and business brokers who already hold a book of SME clients. You keep the relationship; we handle the payments side of it.
Why it is worth doing
Adding a revenue line without adding clients
The point of the program is that you do not have to become a payments specialist to earn from payments.
Revenue from clients you already have
This is not lead generation. Almost every SME on your book takes card payments and pays a merchant service fee every month. The conversation is short because the trust already exists.
All training provided
No payments background assumed. We cover what a merchant actually pays, how to read a statement, and where the savings sit. It is ongoing, not a one-off induction.
You keep the client
You remain the point of contact. Who owns which relationship is agreed in writing before anything moves — we would rather settle that on day one than have you wondering in a year.
A panel, not one provider
A single-provider reseller has one answer regardless of the question. Quoting across a panel is what lets the recommendation follow the client.
The back office is ours
Quoting, applications, compliance and deployment sit with us. So does ongoing support — if a provider goes quiet, we chase it rather than sending your client to a call centre.
No cost, no lock-in
Nothing to join and no monthly fee. Any fee arrangement is agreed in writing up front, never discovered later.
What we provide
What arrives when you join
Training, and then more training
What a merchant actually pays and why, how to read a merchant statement, which questions surface an opportunity, and where the common savings sit — routing, plan structure, terminal rental, settlement terms. Pricing and regulation both move, so this does not stop after induction.
Broker management software
Built for EFTPOS broking rather than adapted from a CRM with the fields renamed. Quoting, applications, deal tracking and the status of every client through to activation — so nothing important lives in a spreadsheet or an inbox.
A panel to quote from
You quote across banks and payment providers rather than one provider's single answer, which is what lets a recommendation actually fit the client — and what makes it defensible when they ask why.
The back office
Provider relationships, negotiation, compliance and deployment sit with us, and so does ongoing support. If a provider is slow or a client has a problem, we chase it.
How it runs
Who does what
What you do
- Recognise when a client's situation warrants a look — usually at a review, a settlement, or a change in their business.
- Introduce it. You do not need to quote, price or explain interchange.
- Stay in the loop, rather than handing the client over and hearing nothing further.
What we do
- Train you on the product, the pricing and the conversation.
- Quote across our panel and negotiate with the provider.
- Run the application, the compliance and the deployment.
- Support the client afterwards, and escalate on their behalf when a provider goes quiet.
Commission, and what it costs you
Partners are paid commission on the business they introduce. The structure is set with each partner rather than published as a single number, because it depends on volume and how much of the deal you want to carry — we would rather agree that with you directly than advertise a figure we might not be able to hold to.
Nothing to have the conversation. Any fee arrangement — including whether the broker software carries one — is settled up front and in writing before you begin, never discovered later.
Partner FAQ
What brokers ask first
Do I need a payments background to become a partner?
No. Training is provided and is ongoing rather than a one-off induction. You need to know when to raise it with a client, not how to price interchange.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing to have the conversation, and there is no monthly fee to be a partner. Any fee arrangement is agreed in writing up front, never discovered later.
Do I lose control of my client?
No. You remain the client's point of contact. Who owns which relationship is set out in writing before any business is introduced.
How are partners paid?
Partners are paid commission on the business they introduce. The structure is agreed with each partner rather than published as a single number, because it depends on volume and how much of the deal you carry.
What if my client already has a good deal?
Then we say so. Telling a client their current arrangement is fine is what makes the next recommendation worth listening to.
Can I refer a merchant without joining the program?
Yes. Send them to our merchant enquiry and we will look at their costs the same way. The partner program is for brokers who want it to become a revenue line.
Worth a conversation?
Tell us what you broke and roughly how many SME clients you hold. If it does not fit how you already work, we will say so.
